Italian Language Courses for International Students at UNITS (NOT for Erasmus Incoming Students)

The Italian language courses for international students at the University of Trieste will start on 30 October 2025. To participate in the course, students must have completed the placement test.

Only students who have already received an individual communication from the University Language Centre (CLA) indicating their level do not need to take or retake the test.

The placement test has been reopened exceptionally [https://forms.office.com/e/ygLbWuWAJU] and will remain available until Sunday, 26 October, at 23:45 (11:45 PM). No further exceptions will be granted.

DURATION: each course consists of 60 academic hours
SCHEDULE:

  • Level A1 – Group A: Tuesday and Thursday, 14:00–15:30
  • Level A1 – Group B: Tuesday and Thursday, 15:45–17:15
  • Level A2/B1: Tuesday and Thursday, 17:30–19:00

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • The course does not provide university credits (CFU).
  • Lessons will not be recorded.
  • Attendance is not mandatory.
  • At the end of the course, students who pass the final test will receive a certificate of completion issued by the CLA.

The next edition of the course is expected to take place in the 2026/2027 academic year, most likely in October 2026.
